Figurative - In progress
24 x 32 , Oil on Linen
This time trying to paint a figurative with some detail.Still got to work on this one.The highlight being the dramatic effect of light on the figurative and the environment as well.I think I wanted to paint a subject which created an atmosphere of its own.

Florentina , a beautiful lass on a bright sunny day.
My wife selected this picture which I enjoyed painting.
I love the vibrant colours . The best part I painted the major part of the painting in two hours.
I guess I am improving.

Rishi - This is very nice already. The lighting is great! Can't wait to see the finished piece.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work Rishi, as always. I love the light in this, you've painted it beautifully and it really heightens the drama of this piece.

I love the filtered light in this Rishi - you have captured it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Looks like it's almost finished? For me this amazing light gives the piece a spiritual feel. Great work, Rishi!
