Portrait Study in Neutral Light

12 x 14 , Oil on canvas

Private Collection

This is a speed work , tried sketching and drawing with some speed.
Managed to sketch and then paint so much in around 3 - 4 hours.
I am quite satiisfied with the tones .

  1. It looks very polished in spite of being a speed painting..if you are able to create something of this caliber in an hour, it is a great gift!

  2. Love this. Especially the way the edges of the bottoms of her rimless glasses just fuse into the skin - masterfully done!

Florentina , a beautiful lass on a bright sunny day.
My wife selected this picture which I enjoyed painting.
I love the vibrant colours . The best part I painted the major part of the painting in two hours.
I guess I am improving.
